I can’t say enough great things about Northwest Endodontics and especially Dr. Atassi. I’ve had many terrible dental experiences and was really nervous. I had been told by other dentists that I would need a complicated procedure, so kept putting it off. Dr Atassi put me at ease right away. And I’m now blown away at how painless the whole thing was! Immediately after the numbness wore off, I was surprised that I had no pain and actually felt relief from pressure I apparently had gotten used to. I will recommend Dr Atassi and the staff at Northwest Endodontics to everyone. Everyone there is so kind and caring. If you need any root canals etc, you won’t be sorry if you see Dr. Atassi. I feel so lucky that my dentist referred me to Northwest Endodontics. Also, it’s super easy to get to from Chicago!

First off let’s all agree that no one wants a root canal…. root canals hurt and they suck…. But you can’t blame the messenger or the healer. Dr Atassi made my procedure as easy and painless as possible, even though I did my best to throw as many curveballs as possible at him… between a tooth that was so …?calcified? (I don’t speak Endodontist, but those roots were HIDING!!) and a panic attack due to PTSD from excessive dental work done 20 years ago by a completely different practice and doctor that left me permanently disabled with nerve damage to one side of my face, to the muscles in my mouth just giving up halfway through and being unable to hold my mouth open anymore ….. Dr Atassi took it all in stride and wouldn’t let me beat myself up about it. He made it sound like every patient presents as much of a challenge as I did. Which I know isn’t true and that’s why, while I honestly hope with all my heart and mouth that I never have to see him again, if I do ever need another root canal, he’ll be my guy. Can’t recommend Dr Atassi highly enough! Also really appreciate the front desk for making sure I knew in advance that GPS for this location can be tricky, as that street address exists in both Mt Prospect and Arlington Heights! That was super important and eliminated a lot of potential confusion.

I had a root canal performed, Stephanie was in the front office, Dr. Przbylo handled the procedure with another dental associate. It was a very smooth and painless experience, a root canal is a root canal but this was as best an experience as I could have hoped for. That is the only reason for this post.

I had the best experience with Dr. Atassi for my root canal! I was so incredibly nervous for my appointment from past horrible experiences at other practices. Him and Irene did an incredible job! I felt absolutely zero pain and he took all of my pain away! Maura was wonderful coordinating my appointment to ensure I was seen quickly. I highly highly recommend Dr. Atassi and this wonderful practice!

Mi experiencia fue muy buena con el dr. Sebastian, mi dentista actual me refirió a otros endodoncistas pero yo quise regresar con Sebastián porque ya me habían hecho otros trabajos es muy consciente con la situación que uno tiene, es muy amable y muy profesional trabaja excelente no tardo mucho. No queda una sensación de que les importa más el dinero como sucede en todo el sistema médico al que uno está acostumbrado, gracias también a la recepcionista Stefany que fue muy eficaz y amable

Increíble service! Dr. Przybylo was Increíble told him my fear for needles and previous bad experience dealing with pain. I didn’t even felt it. All the time he was asking if I was OK. It was a root canal I didn’t mind having! I still can’t believe I had one! Dr. P even called me next day to find out how I was doing which is a first for me! Cristina also was Increíble helpful getting my records fast so that I could send it to my new dentist. All the staff is very nice. I highly recommend coming to them!

Let’s hear it for Dr. Atassi, Maura and Monica! Today I went in to have a root canal. Panicked. From the time Maura picked up the phone to schedule me in- it was an experience like none other. She is amazing, friendly, calming and so helpful getting everything in place so quickly. Dr. Atassi performed two root canals on me today. Trust. The only reason I got two done was because of the trust he so quickly built with me. He is professional, explained everything in a way I could understand, eased my concerns and worry and dealt with my anxiety with a smile on his face. Monica, an angel, was so helpful throughout start to finish as well and made sure I was comfortable while assisting Dr. Atassi. I am so thankful for this team today at Northwest Endodontics! You are the best!

As crazy as this sounds, this was the best root canal experience ever! I was so excited I told everyone. Highly recommend Dr. Fitzgerald and his staff. Had a root canal in a molar (3 canals); I was done in 30 minutes – no pain, no follow up issues. Liz, the office manager also was great working with my dental insurance to get the claim processed after a snag developed in the insurer’s process. Thanks for the great service, which is becoming a scarcity elsewhere since the pandemic.

I previously had some tooth discoloration from a traumatic injury. Dr. Atassi met with me to discuss the procedure and made me feel confident and comfortable. He completed a root canal that was efficient, seamless, and yielded perfect results. It was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I couldn’t say enough good things about Dr. Fitzgerald within one review! I have TERRIBLE dental anxiety. I had to get a retreatment on an infected root canal. After he reviewed the scans, he decided I had to have the apical surgery done and he did an amazing job. I had seen another Endo prior that was going to just redo the whole root canal (not take the apical approach) and was telling me I needed root canals in other teeth also. I wanted to get a second opinion and am SO glad I did. Dr. Fitzgerald reassured me that I did not need a root canal in the teeth the other endo was saying I did and also that we didn’t have to ruin the Crown. Huge win there as they are so expensive. He was overall very reassuring when I called him the night after the surgery in pain and he explained further what I can do to help it! He is super patient, kind, and caring. He is an incredible endo and you can tell he genuinely cares. He did the procedure quickly (30 min!) and was reassuring the whole time. I pray I don’t need another root canal at any point in my life but I know if I do I have an amazing person to go to for it who makes the whole process seamless. Another HUGE perk: he is very on time if not early! Highly recommend Dr. Fitzgerald. Everyone in the office was lovely as well 🙂

I had an excellent experience during my recent visit with Dr. Palmieri. The staff is polite, helpful, and prompt. Dr. Palmieri was right on time, super nice, and addressed all of my questions and needs. Highly recommended! I would suggest you fill out your forms online in advance if your appointment so you don’t need to be there 30 minutes early. I am appreciative that the office works hard to keep appointments on time.

I first off want to report, I am terrified of all things dental. I’ve had lots of horrible dentistry throughout out my life that continues to impact me. I called to make an appointment for a throbbing painful tooth after an old filling cracked my tooth. Maura (receptionist) was incredible. She got me right on the schedule and provided me with an estimate after reaching out to my insurance company. I had a consultation with Dr. Atassi who was wonderful. That consultation lead to a root canal but he also found other problems (from previous endodontists/dentists) that needed to be addressed, which was visualized by X-ray and their 2-d scanner. He ensured my root canal was PAIN FREE, which of course was my biggest concern. He was meticulous during the process, explaining everything he was doing putting me at ease. He took x-rays post root canal ensuring the work he performed was accurate. From start to finish I had a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend them.

Having had much dental work during my life, I managed to experience a few root canals along the way. When my regular dentist informed me that I needed a root canal, I was dreading it. Enter Dr.Fitzgerald ! He assured me it would be a different experience. My goodness, like night and day. The best root canal I ever experienced!! It was completed in a very short time with very little pain afterwards. Dr. Fitzgerald is the absolute best. Exceptional skills, intelligent, kind, funny and cares about the patient. Moira , the receptionist is a joy to interact with on every level. If you have dentist fears and need a root canal, Dr.Fitzgerald is the man to help you. Thank you Moira and Dr.Fitzgerald!!!

I had an excellent experience with this practice. Dr. Fitzgerald diagnosed the problem and was able to perform my apical procedure the following day. He put me at ease and gave me reassurance the outcome would be very good. He lived up to his word. I felt minimal pain after the procedure. They use state of the art diagnostics and are up on the latest procedures. The staff was also very friendly and efficient!!

Having had a couple root canal treatments in the past, I can say with 100% confidence that Dr. Fitzgerald will give you the BEST care available! Dr. Fitzgerald is informative, skilled, gentle and reassuring through every step of his treatment. You will be so happy when you get your root canal done by Dr. Fitzgerald!

Was referred here by my dentist for an emergency root canal and was squeezed in that day without any issue. Dr. Przybylo made the entire experience painless and helped relieve so much pressure and pain that I had been dealing with for almost three weeks. Would highly recommend getting any root canals or other dental work done here. Great staff that are all very knowledgeable and super friendly!

Just got done with my appt literally 30 mins ago and i cant recommend Dr. Fitzgerald enough! I was petrified of the dentist and Dr. Fitzgerald 100% changed my mind. 100% painless root canal and he’s got absolutely amazing bedside manner. Love love love this place, thank you for saving my teeth and changing my views on the dentist!!!

A great experience from the get go, initial phone call I was greeted by real people, who knew their jobs were super helpful and efficient. Take note all you doctors that are using call centers. Dr. Fitzgerald gave very detailed information as to what was going on, grateful for that. Highly recommend this office if you want a painless root canal.

Had 2 procedures done by Dr Fitzgerald in the past 6 months. A root canal retreat and a tooth extraction. I remembered the original root canal was done by a dentist that was still using a headset type magnifying glass were as Dr Fitzgerald used the latest microscope. As for the 2nd tooth it took longer to get numbed up than it took to pull it out. Both times in and out quickly and pretty much painless. Dr Fitzgerald himself called the next day each time to check to see if everything was going well.

I was walking into Dr. Fitzgerald’s office not knowing what was wrong with my tooth and not really knowing what a root canal was or how that procedure went. Everyone working in the office was extremely helpful and kind. When Dr. Fitzgerald came to see me, he was patient and answered all my questions. He took his time explaining to me what could’ve caused this and what needed to be done. He recommended the root canal procedure and insured me that it would be painless, easy and quick. Dr. Fitzgerald did not steer me wrong! I had this procedure done yesterday and it feels as though I didn’t have anything done at all! I really appreciate Dr. Fitzgerald and his entire team and would definitely go back if I need another root canal (let’s hope I don’t though) 🙂

Dr. Aga Chruszczyk, her assistant (Monica), and the front desk lady are theosr down to earth and knowledgeable people you’ll meet. I came in with horrible sensitivity that warranted a root canal. Dr. Aga assured me of all the steps throughout the procedure. She follows up with her patients and truly take the time to care. It’s hard to find a professional who has both intellect and care, but Park Ridge Endodontics exceeded my expectations. 10/10 recommended.

Friendly, professional and efficient – that’s how I would summarize my visit to this office for a root canal this past Friday. The staff was friendly and ready for me upon arrival. I was in and out within 1 hour for the whole procedure, and the best part is that I felt no pain the day of the procedure or in the following days. I highly recommend Dr. Przybylo! I had an emergency root canal done yesterday & I cannot say enough about the staff & Dr. Fitzgerald at this business. Everyone treated me with kindness & compassion. I especially liked how Dr. Fitzgerald explained every part of the process & what he was doing & what it would feel like. It took the apprehension out of the procedure & really put me at ease. I would highly recommend them!!!

As a child I was put through such Painful visits with my family dentist because he did not believe in Any kind of sedation when drilling my tooth 🦷. To this day , the sound of a drill Freaks me out and brings me back to my childhood. Dr Fitzgerald is UNBELIEVABLE!! I had a root canal done, and Believe me when I say this! I didn’t Feel the needle injection to numb me. Also,, I had a tooth pulled too, it was a crown that was really old and could not be saved, Again ,I did not feel Any Pain What-So-Ever! Dr. Patrick Fitzgerald at Park Ridge Endodontics is the expert you want to see if you need any endodontic procedure. He makes a root canal almost enjoyable! Everyone in the office is responsive, efficient, friendly and professional. Dr. Fitzgerald always does a great job explaining the process and strives to ensure you are comfortable and pain-free. He uses the latest and greatest cutting edge technology, with a good dose of top-notch humor to make the entire process a superb experience. Highly recommend.

This was my first root canal and the entire staff was exceptional with the entire process. Front staff happily greeted me upon walking in the office and Dr Fitzgerald explained everything before, during and after treatment. He was gentle and made me feel extremely comfortable. The procedure was painless. Who knew a root canal could be a positive experience? I can’t thank the entire staff again for their fast, courteous and professional service! To anyone that needs a great Endodontist, Dr. Fitzgerald gets my highest recommendation!

Dr. Fitzgerald was AMAZING!! Smiley, happy, understanding, calming. I told him of my nightmare last root canal 20 years ago where I felt every painful moment…..he assured me it would be like night and day. I wouldn’t feel a thing, it wouldn’t take that long and everything would be fine. Dr. Fitzgerald knew I was anxious so he explained what he was doing, gave me updates as the work was being done and assured me that all was going fine. Amazing experience. My husband had a root canal here and said it was a gentle experience. The doctors are so nice, compassionate and know what they are doing. The front desk was willing to help and accommodate his crazy schedule, and was knowledgable about his insurance. I recommend all my friends come here if they need a root canal!

Great experience! I was so frightened to have a root canal, but Dr Fitzgerald was wonderful! He was very professional and I felt confident that he was doing a great job. He called later that evening to see how I was doing and I was amazed at how well I felt. If I ever need another root canal, I will definitely go to Dr. Fitzgerald.

Dr. Fitzgerald was incredible. I was nervous about getting a root canal cause of hearing horror stories. This was not the case here. Didn’t feel an ounce of pain. (Not even from the shot) It was fast, in and out with no pain. He even explained the procedure in full detail (although over my head lol). Overall felt comfortable and recovering was not a problem either. Been to dentist before where they numb the whole face but it was done perfectly and was back to normal shortly after. If you have to get a root canal do yourself a favor and go to DR Fitz.

He is the nicest, funniest, most personable doc I have ever dealt with. He was very kind and was sensitive to all the pain I was feeling and he soothed me quite nicely. He is exceptionally gentle , extremely thorough, and when he did the root canal, he was consntantly checking my pain level. For the crown, he did a remarkably perfect job of putting it in. The crown felt like my own tooth and that let me know how outstanding his skills are. I trust him 100%!!!

I had a double root canal done by Dr. Fitzgerald. This is experience is always scary, but Dr. Fitzgerald made the entire event painless. The novocaine shot was painless and quick and the procedure was done efficiently and thoroughly. Dr. Fitzgerald, along with his staff was professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease immediately. If you have to get one of these horrible procedures done, I would highly recommend The Park Ridge Endodontics on Northwest Highway in Chicago.

Patrick Fitzgerald is a MASTER ARTIST When She was in elementary school, my Wife had a traumatic dental experience as 4 nurses held her down without sedation, and without painkillers and bore down into her tooth with impact-hammer-sized drill until she passed out from pain (and then continued on with the procedure). Hence, the flashbacks and trauma just as She was about to undergo a root canal on the very same tooth. Enter Patrick Fitzgerald D.D.S : He was very warm, receptive and confident as he explained the procedure. He let me stay with my Wife during the whole procedure, while my Wife was tearing up from fear – it was recommended that She be administered a laughing gas by her general dentist – but indeed just as Patrick said, he wields techniques you’ve never heard of before, and with 15,001 root canals behind his belt – no laughing gas was needed. Once local anesthetic was applied, the most painful part was already behind – Arguably, that was the ONLY “painful experience” as my Wife did not even feel that one. That is right: the dreaded root canal, and Dr. Fitzgerald did not let my Wife experience any pain at any time during the procedure! Entire endodontic surgery took, I kid you not, maybe 30 minutes – it was entirely painless, and watching Dr. Patrick and his dental assistant Justyna work in total synchronization, harmony and with such mastery of the dental art, that it was hypnotizing to watch (okay, first minutes were uncomfortable to watch as would be to any non-dentist but after that…). They are both apparently very highly experienced, and I dare to say that they have perfected the *art*. Why art you say? Every move was precise and quick, throughout the entire procedure I did not see as much as half a second of stagger, not an iota of uncertainty – only pure, unrestrained mastery. Just when we would think that the procedure would only take off, it was already done – If I have not seen the post-surgery X-Ray I would not have believed that it was completed so shortly. As Patrick raised the seat and announced that the root canal procedure is complete, to my Wife’s surprise and mine, I gave Dr. Fitzgerald and Justyna a round of applause (something foreign for me to do) in turn, to their surprise :)So to any seekers of endodontics or doubters – you are indeed safe with Dr. Patrick Fitzgerald, you will not experience any pain, it will be over before you will know any better and he’s got your back 200% of the time. Every penny was worth the procedure, and I can’t thank their team enough – as even I felt deeply inspired by their outstanding professionalism – yeah, if you want to experience the definition of professionalism, you by now know where to find it.
